We are a 501c3 non profit, all volunteer run dog rescue organization that matches shelter and rescue dogs with adoptive homes in and around Atlanta as well as giving local rescue groups large and small another outlet to get exposure for dogs you may not have seen otherwise. We also organize big, fun adoption events and parties all benefitting the homeless pets of Atlanta. We do this all in a positive, happy manner and refrain from the sad eyes begging behind bars - there is too much of that out there already. Join us on our mission to make Atlanta a better place for homeless dogs, and help us reach our goal of making adoption easier so people don't have an excuse anymore!
Some people say I look like a cow
The wonderful people at Releash Atlanta enrolled me in 6 weeks of obedience class to help me be the perfect dog for you. My foster dad is making sure I stay on top of my commands and is always quizzing me on what I know. I know how to "sit", if you tell me to "go lay down" I will go to my doggie bed and lay down, if you tell me to "go to my den" I will go rest in my crate. I am not so good with shaking your hands yet, maybe you can teach me how.
I enjoy chilling on the couch and watching tv with you. When I am not on the couch or my bed I like to play with other dogs. I am a bit shy at first but once I get to know the other dogs I will run with them, chase after them, and wrestle like we are BFFs.
I enjoy long walks and play times in the sun. I am wonderful on a leash, I don't pull at all and when I am happy I prance like a horse. I am learning how to run on a treadmill but I prefer a casual walking pace on the treadmill.
My foster dad tells me I listens well and am attentive, I sure do like treats during training times. I am not destructive and am pretty laid back.
Yolo is shy and a little timid/reserved when meeting new dogs, caution should be taken during the meet and greet to ensure the other dog does not come on too strong to spook Yolo. Yolo is not aggressive but might growl if the other dog approach his space too quickly.
Yolo does not appear to be food or water aggressive and is more open to sharing his water with female dogs than male dogs.

Yolo (aka Elvis) has finally found love. Yolo is with his own family this evening and will surely be spoiled this weekend and to the end of time.
The Coyne were searching for a dog with character and were instantly in love with Yolo. They couldn't get enough of Yolo and his glasses or bow ties and knew he is the one they have been searching for. One of her sons is attending KSU and might try to sneak him into his classes. Yolo will have a big yard to run and play in, a large subdivision to walk and sniff out the neighborhood dogs, nearby trails to hike and run.
A huge, gigantic thank you to Kelvin for fostering!!

Wait for it... 😜
I got tricks for days!! But the one thing I can't do is find my forever people! Will you help me find them by liking/sharing this post?! They have to be out there somewhere!
My name is Yolo but they call me Elvis! I'm a young, handsome boxer mix boy that's really proving to be quite the gentleman! I am perfectly crate trained and housetrained! I get along with other dogs and I walk wonderfully on a leash! I love to chill and snuggle on the couch with my foster dad! I also like to romp in my backyard and play! I am smart and know commands, too! Can you say total package?!
Apply for me at releashatlanta.com or PM us if you have questions about me!

Releash Atlanta Valentine's Day singles section:
Interviewer: So, Yolo, nice to meet you!
Yolo: oh hi ma'am! Nice to meet you too, turn around so I can meet you properly
Interviewer: um no, people don't do that.
Yolo: #weird
Interviewer: anyway... so Yolo! How old are you?!
Yolo: well my parents left me when I was young so I don't have an actual birthday that I know of but I've done some astrological research and decided my favorite sign of the Zodiak is the Libra, so I'm gonna be one of those, born like 2 years ago!
Interviewer: I'm a Libra too!
Yolo: go figure 😜
Interviewer: Yolo, tell us a bit about you, what's your favorite TV show! What do you do in your spare time?
Yolo: when I'm not relaxing on the couch with my foster dad watching the Walking Dead, you'll find me reading a novel by the fireplace. If outdoor activities are on the agenda, I like to bird and squirrel watch and, if I've got sunscreen handy, I love to bask in the sun!
Interviewer: well that sounds like a lovely day! Tell us, what are you looking for in a partner?
Yolo: I'm hoping to find a partner that will snuggle with me on the couch, take me for walks, and explain to me that I'm a handsome boy - because who would get sick of hearing that?! I'm looking for someone who will love me and be my Valentine for the rest of my life! I'm looking for someone who understands that once I'm in, I'm IN, and I want the same commitment from my person and to love me as much as I'll love them.
Interviewer: well that doesn't seem like too much to ask for Yolo! Is there anything else you'd like to mention before we conclude our interview?
Yolo: GO FALCONS - whatever, his knee was down and we should have won.
Interviewer: um, that's not really what I meant...
Yolo: sorry, no, nothing other than if you want to learn more about me, email adopt@releashatlanta.com or check out releashatlanta.com
Interviewer: thank you so much for your time Yolo! We hope that you find your forever home soon!!

Dear Diary,
This past week I had to say goodbye to two friends I met in my foster home. I miss playing in the yard with them but I know they are being spoiled rotten in their furever home.
