We are very thankful for the committed team and network we have at Three Paws. Nine new dog additions will be added soon to our site, so keep an eye out for our newest canines! We are so thankful for our co-founders, fosters, shelter partners, and volunteers for making such a busy day so successful. We could not do it without each and every person that is so dedicated to animal welfare. Thank you everyone involved with today’s busy schedule— none of us get paid to do this, and yet many still choose to foster, advocate, and keep our dream alive. We are so grateful for every single one of you for sharing our posts and helping us find dogs foster homes. Thank you, thank you, thank you. ❤️

Today, we lost a really special dog.

Thor came to us from a poor quality breeder. He was heartworm positive, had many neurological issues, and could hardly stand.

We brought Thor into our care because we knew he needed help—badly. His hair was terribly matted, he was filthy, so terrified of human touch. We immediately got Thor vaccinated and started him on slow kill heartworm treatment.

Over the last few weeks, Thor experienced love for the first time in his life. Our co-founder, Kelvin Ling, gave Thor the chance at life that he deserved all along. Kelvin, we are so beyond grateful for you and all that you do for this rescue. Because of Kelvin, Thor finally knew what it felt like to be cared for in his final days.

Unfortunately, Thor extremely regressed in the past few days, and today, we lost him. Our hearts are completely shattered.

Please don’t buy from breeders. Thor was only 5 years old at the time of his passing and his issues were already so advanced. There are so many shelter and rescue dogs needing homes already.

Our hearts go out to you, Thor. We love you and always will. Fly high buddy, you were the most special (and you always will be). You are loved more than ever.

This holiday season, we are especially grateful for our wonderful Co-Founder, Kelvin Ling. Not only did he deliver eight kittens to their new homes before the holidays, but he has continually watched over our foster animals while our fosters are out of town for the holidays. Kelvin, we are so lucky to have you as a part of our team. Thank you for your endless compassion, since so many shelter animals get to sleep in a warm bed tonight because of you. Three Paws is forever thankful for you.

We saved a cat or 10 today. Yay for safe kitties. We couldn’t stand to see a full shelter at the lovely MOAS Pets , so we decided to help out in the best way we could! If anyone is looking for a kitten, we have a ton. Fluffy, calico, tabby, you name it! Thank you to the wonderful fosters and Co-founders that made this possible. We love kittens, especially safe ones 🙂 We even got the luxury of rescuing Pippin, now Pumpkin, the longest resident at the shelter. Happy tails to lots and lots of kitties!!
