Our mission is to rescue, rehome, or provide hospice care to animals saved from shelters. To provide senior animals a loving home environment to spend their remaining days. To provide special needs animals an environment to work through health or behavior issues. Match potential adopters with their furry new best friends.
Gypsy is a sweet lab/shepherd mix. She does not act like an 9 years old, she still enjoys outdoor activities whether that be car rides, hiking, run or walk around the yard. She loves to play with puppies! Her favorite game to play is fetch with a big tennis ball or squeaky toy. She would do best in a home with a big fenced in yard.
She is so loyal and sweet to her family and those who take care of her. She loves to give kisses and get belly rubs as well.
She doesn't mind cats, enjoys watching them walk around the house from her seat on the couch and will try to play with a cat if they are playful back. She is ok around dogs with a submissive personality if she doesn't feel the need to protect her people.
Gypsy would be best in a home with a human pack leader who can be her boss. She is smart and listens to commands and directions. She can be reactive and will stand her ground if another dog tries to dominate her or snap at her.
Gypsy is not ideal in a home with another strong-minded dog.
Gypsy is currently 62lbs.
