Our mission is to rescue, rehome, or provide hospice care to animals saved from shelters. To provide senior animals a loving home environment to spend their remaining days. To provide special needs animals an environment to work through health or behavior issues. Match potential adopters with their furry new best friends.
Froggy was rescued from the Athens-Clarke County Animal Shelter after being there for over 4 months. He was repeatedly overlooked due to his black coloration, and the fact there were multiple black cats there. Froggy came in to the shelter as an owner surrender in August 2018 with his siblings. All siblings were adopted except little Froggy! We honestly don't understand why as he is so incredibly sweet and very well behaved. He loves his kitty playmate, Spice, and just wants to be part of the household. He is affectionate and purrs once you enter a room, but he also is fine being left to his own devices. He is the kind of cat that will sit with you on the couch and be perfectly content to hang out. Froggy is also very playful and loves the laser pointer! We are working with introducing him to dogs, but he did not run or hide with his first meet and greet. He was wary but with time and a well behaved dog, he will do just fine!
