Harley

We know bully breeds and boxer/pit mixes often get unfairly judged. We know black dogs are often overlooked in rescue. But anyone who has spent time with Harley knows the truth:

Harley is not a stereotype. Harley is a sweetheart.

She is almost 6-year-old Boxer/Pit mix who is basically a Golden Retriever in a Boxer/Pit body — happy, wiggly, affectionate, loyal, and always wanting to be near her humans. She follows you around, looks at you with those soft eyes, and just wants to be included in your day.

Yes, she gets excited when she meets people. Yes, she might jump a little because she wants your attention. But Harley listens well, knows her basic commands, and is a proud PetSmart puppy training graduate. She is smart, eager to please, and a fast learner. She just needs someone to guide her and say, “This is what I want you to do.”

Harley is a big love bug who loves:

🖤 Lounging on a couch, dog bed, or human bed
🖤 Walks, playtime, and attention
🖤 Taking treats gently
🖤 Following you around like your happy little shadow

We are asking someone to take a chance on Harley. Meet her. Spend a little time with her. Let her show you who she really is. Harley is a big love bug who’s happiest when she’s close to her people—lounging on a **couch, dog bed, or even a human bed** after a walk or play session. She’s affectionate, goofy in the best way, and brings joy wherever she goes. She takes treats **gently**, sometimes giving them a quick sniff before delicately taking them from your fingers.

Because we truly believe the person who gives Harley a chance will either be so glad they did — or wonder why it took them so long to meet her.
